Screen Sans is a large family of constructed-style sans serif fonts. These fonts feature forms that look like those that have been favored by engineers for over a century. Their letters are straight-sided, and the strokes that make them up are monolinear. The Screen Sans family includes 14 members. Seven of these fonts are italics, although these italic fonts should really be called ‘obliques,’ as the letters are slanted versions of what you’ll find in the upright fonts. The family’s weights range from Extralight through Extrabold. The x-height is moderate, so the ascenders and the descenders are quite prominent. The ascenders rise above the capital letters and the numerals – both of which share the same height. Each font uses a double-storey ‘a’ and single-storey ‘g’. Years ago, fonts like Screen Sans were primarily used to brand firms in engineering and tech. Recently, however, they have become increasingly popular solutions for setting text on screen. The Regular weight of this family would be excellent for setting body copy either on screen or in print. The other weights can be used for text sizes, too, but will function even better when used large.

[wya] Download OBO Star font by Juri Zaech

OBO Star Font Family was designed by Juri Zaech, and published by Juri Zaech. OBO Star contains 1 styles and family package options. Download Now Server 1 Download Now Server 2 Download Now Server 3 About OBO Star Font Family OBO Star is a fat, subtly flared display typeface with a not so subtle groove factor. The letters are based on a square and do not have ascenders or descenders. This way the typeface can be used for horizontal and vertical settings, or mixed like crosswords. There are a few exceptions for certain punctuation and special characters that are half the width for better spacing; and the word space’s width can easily be adjusted through OpenType stylistic sets. Talking about spacing, for strictly horizontal typesetting there is the option to turn on kerning for a number of characters to create a more optimal texture across words and phrases. But that’s all just technical talk. The true character of OBO Star is the funky look, amplified by the wide 1x1 format th...

Download Didonesque Script Fonts Family From Paulo Goode

Download Didonesque Script Fonts Family From Paulo Goode Didonesque Script has the flair of a script typeface, yet retains the rigid structure and incline of its cousins in the Didonesque family. This makes for an interesting approach – the flamboyancy of this script is restrained which resonates a distinctly reserved and formal tone. This typeface is perfect for formal occasions, with its main intent for use in short runs of text, headlines, branding and logo applications. Open Type features are utilized to good effect – positional forms, contextual alternates, ligatures, stylistic alternates, and old style figures all add value to Didonesque Script. There are four weights, from delicate to voluptuous (Regular, Medium, Bold, and Black), which are replicated in “Display” versions – these are designed for use at larger point sizes. Key features: • 4 weights in two styles – Regular and Display • Positional Forms (when activated) ensure the correct glyphs appear i...
